Community Involvement:
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. My husband and I relocated to WNY in 2013. Prior to becoming a primary care nurse practitioner, I worked as a RN pediatric oncology at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Currently I work per diem at Tonawanda Pediatrics and spend the rest of my time at home with my two energetic young children and chocolate lab. The summers in Buffalo are spectacular and we love exploring all that this city has to offer. While I was earning my undergrad degree at Pitt, I studied abroad at a transplant hospital in Palermo, Sicily. My husband and I spent two weeks in various parts of southern Italy on our honeymoon and I hope to get back there someday with my own children!
Special Interests/ Hobbies:
Tim Horton’s coffee

Why Did You Choose Pediatrics?:
There is nothing like children to help you stay humble. I love the uniqueness, sense of humor and resiliency of children. Kids make my job fun, but also quite challenging at times! It’s incredibly important to me to earn the trust of both children and parents.
